The Most Useful Chinese Words for a Rainy Day and Typhoon
Here are some handy words you can use to chat (and complain) about the typhoon and rainy weather and describe a rainy day in Chinese!

3. Hurricane

EXAMPLE
“台风”和“飓风”其实是一种天气,只是名字不一样,不同的国家用不同的名字称呼它。
“Táifēng” hé “jùfēng” qíshí shì yī zhǒng tiānqì, zhǐshì míngzi bù yīyàng, bùtóng de guójiā yòng bùtóng de míngzi chēnghu tā.
“Typhoon” and “hurricane” are actually the same thing, just the names are different, (because) different countries call them differently.
