Front Desk
where our staff is always happy to see you
The first thing you’ll see as you enter the campus is the front desk.
Remember: if you have any questions about your stay in Shanghai, your courses and experience, this is the place to ask! Our friendly course coordinators are always happy to help.
Classrooms
spacious, well-lit rooms for group & private Chinese classes
Our comfortable classrooms are well-lit and equipped with a computer, whiteboard, and Wi-Fi access, making it easy for you to learn Chinese with the help of NihaoCafe, our online language learning platform.
Common Area
shared space for cultural events and self-study
If you come to class early, or would like to stay after class to relax, you’re always welcome to enjoy our common area.
It’s an open space filled with green plants and sunlight.
We also use this as a venue for cultural events — Chinese culture activities, mahjong nights, and parties.
Tea & Coffee Bar
To make your learning more efficient and pleasurable, we always have hot tea and coffee for you at the bar counter. Enjoy a break between classes at this sunny corner, refill your water bottle, and get a quick caffeine fix before heading back to Zhōngwén kè (Chinese classes).
Terrace
open space with a view
If you have a moment to take in the view of the city, come to our glass terrace! It’s a nice place to take a break or engage in some self-study.
We also have a “glamping” area outside with tents for you to enjoy some fresh air under the shade.
Even Bigger Terrace
open area to enjoy on a sunny day
If you’re looking to get some fresh air, we also have a big open space on the other side of the campus. On a sunny day, you’ll get a nice view of Shanghai’s downtown area. We host outdoor activities here such as morning yoga and taichi practices.
