Must-Know Reasons for a Pop-Up Alert in Your Health Kit
If you live in Beijing, you might’ve received a popup alert in your Health Kit 健康宝 (Jiànkāng Bǎo) mini-program.
There are 2 most popular reasons why it might appear. 🚨👇
All You Need to Know About a Pop-Up Alert in Your Health Kit
What is a Health Kit (健康宝)?
The Health Kit mini-program, or 健康宝 (Jiànkāng Bǎo), has become like a ‘free pass’ for you to enter public places. And once you get a pop-up alert, it will affect your movement — or as they say in Chinese, 寸步难行 (cùnbù nánxíng), you “won’t be able to move a single step”.
Why Pop-Up Alerts?
Pop-Up alerts appear when one of the required conditions is not fulfilled.
There seem to be 2 most popular reasons lately — officially called Reason #3 and Reason #4 — and we’ll look at both of them in detail 👇
Beijing Health Kit | Pop-Up Alert: Reason #3
与疫情风险地区、风险点位、风险人员有时空关联。
Yǔ yìqíng fēngxiǎn dìqū, fēngxiǎn diǎn wèi, fēngxiǎn rényuán yǒu shíkōng guānlián.
Related (in time and space) to epidemic risk areas, locations, and/or people in epidemic risk.
Why It Appears
Short answer: big data. Whether or not you’ve actually been to a high-risk area is not proven at this point, but the big data analysis spotted a potential risk.
What to Do
Step 01. Report to Your Neighborhood Committee Immediately
As soon as you see this alert, contact your neighborhood committee. It’s said to be the fastest way to solve the issue as they have the means to appeal your case. (Calling 12345 might not help, as there are hundreds of people calling this number at every given moment.)
Step 02. State that You Haven’t Visited a Medium- or High-Risk Areas
If you haven’t been to “medium- or high-risk areas or places with confirmed cases”, and neither have you “received any epidemic prevention investigation or notification calls or text messages from any department”, notify your neighborhood committee. They will help you fill in a relevant form.
You will also be asked to sign a letter of commitment, promising that you “have not been to medium and high-risk areas, and have not been associated with confirmed cases.”
Step 03. Take a PCR Test & Send a Screenshot
The final step would be to take a nucleic acid test. As soon as the result comes out negative, send a screenshot of it to your neighborhood committee. They will upload it to the system and help you restore the green code. The green code can be restored within an hour, or even half an hour at the fastest.
TIPS
01. Remember to Act Fast
“If you are in Beijing, once the health treasure pop-up window appears, please Immediately report to the community where you live, and the relevant departments will conduct a risk investigation. If there is no related risk, the pop-up window can be lifted. If it is not reported in time, the pop-up window cannot be lifted.”
02. Avoid High-Risk Areas
To stay safe in Beijing at this time, it would probably be a good idea not to visit too many public places unless it is absolutely necessary. When your itinerary is analyzed during the screening, it might turn out that you’ve indeed been close to a medium- or high-risk area. Don’t risk it.
Beijing Health Kit | Pop-Up Alert: Reason #4
As the official account explains too, Reason #4 has been another very popular reason why Beijingers have seen pop-ups in their Health Kit. It’s stated as follows:
①
进(返)京后(72小时内);
Jìn (fǎn) jīng hòu (qīshí’èr xiǎoshí nèi);
[You’ve] entered (returned to) Beijing (within 72 hours);
②
近期有购买“四类”药品(72小时内);
Jìnqī yǒu gòumǎi “sì lèi” yàopǐn (qīshí’èr xiǎoshí nèi);
[You’ve] recently purchased one of the “4 categories” of drugs (within 72 hours);
③
出现发热等“十一类”症状到诊所等基层医疗机构就诊(72小时内);
Chūxiàn fārè děng “shíyī lèi” zhèngzhuàng dào zhěnsuǒ děng jīcéng yīliáo jīgòu jiùzhěn (qīshí’èr xiǎoshí nèi);
[You’ve] had one of the “11 categories” of symptoms such as fever, or visited a clinic or other primary medical institutions for treatment (within 72 hours);
④
所从事职业有相关要求等其他防疫规定情况;
Suǒ cóngshì zhíyè yǒu xiāngguān yāoqiú děng qítā fángyì guīdìng qíngkuàng;
[Your] occupation has relevant requirements and other epidemic prevention regulations;
Why It Appears
Short answer: you’re missing a PCR test. Even if you’ve taken all the necessary tests recently, sometimes the results get delayed and even fail to come out.
What to Do
Step 01. Take a PCR Test
Simply go and take a PCR test immediately.
Contacting your neighborhood committee might not be helpful in this case.
Step 02. Wait!
Wait for the results of the new test to come out.
At 00:00 every day, the Health Kit system checks for new data, and if the results of your test are negative, the pop-up alert will disappear.
